This Privacy Policy explains how Interactive Ecommerce LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“Oron”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit getoron.com or use the Oron service. For the purposes of the GDPR and UK GDPR, we are the controller of that information. Contact: hello@getoron.com.
We collect this information directly from you, automatically when you use our website, and from the services you connect (Google, your website platform, Stripe).
If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, we rely on these legal bases: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) to provide the Service you ordered; legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) to answer inquiries, secure and improve the Service and measure our marketing; consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) for marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time; and legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) for tax and accounting records.
Oron’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Search Console data only to plan your content, measure results and show you reports. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train general AI models. You can revoke our access at any time in your Google account settings or by disconnecting in your dashboard.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run Oron, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us:
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply. Email hello@getoron.com for the full, current list of subprocessors.
We are based in the United States, and several of our providers process data there. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (with the UK Addendum where relevant) and, for certified providers, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. Ask us and we will send you the safeguard used for a specific provider.
We keep account information for as long as you are a customer, and delete it no later than 12 months after your account closes. Session recordings and analytics data are kept for no longer than our analytics providers’ standard retention periods. Accounting and tax records are kept as long as the law requires.
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your personal information, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email hello@getoron.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority; in the UK, that is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, gives you additional rights.
What we collect. In the last 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, IP address); customer records and commercial information (company details, subscription and payment history); internet or network activity (usage data, session recordings, ad interactions); and account login credentials (sensitive personal information, used only to provide the Service). We collect them from the sources and for the purposes described in sections 2 and 3, and keep them as described in section 8.
Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of the Meta pixel and the Google Ads tag may count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out with the button in section 11 or by emailing us. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Your rights. You have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and disclose it, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we only use it to provide the Service). We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
How to make a request. Email hello@getoron.com. We will verify your request by matching it to the email address on your account. You can also use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of your permission. We respond within 45 days.
These are the cookies our website sets, what they do and how long they stay in your browser:
PostHog also stores the same values in your browser’s local storage, and your opt-out is stored there too, under the key __ph_opt_in_out_phc_xBrwex2AfXJQJgChRP2BZizR39qXVFUQo4bQy5o9Day3. That key is not a cookie. We set the first three cookies in the table ourselves; the other five are set by the tools when the page loads. The Google Ads tag also loads a Google Analytics destination (G-26R3TS05FE), which sets the two _ga cookies and stores _gcl_ls in local storage.
You can turn off tracking yourself. Your choice is stored in our own cookie in this browser and applies across getoron.com:
The button covers all four tools. Analytics and session recording are turned off, the Meta pixel is told to revoke consent, and the Google tag is told that neither ad measurement nor analytics is allowed (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage are set to denied). No new ad or analytics cookies are set: _fbp, _gcl_au, _ga and _ga_26R3TS05FE are not created, and neither Meta nor PostHog receives events. oron_s, oron_attr, oron_maaling and the PostHog identifier cookie remain, because they keep your session, remember where you came from and remember your choice. Cookies and local storage already in your browser when you click are not deleted by the button; clear your browser data for getoron.com to remove them. Google still receives a cookieless ping that the page was opened, with no identifier and no profile; this is the only way Google’s consent mode lets us withdraw consent without removing the tag. Your choice is stored in this browser, so repeat it if you switch browsers or clear your cookies. You can always ask us to delete what we hold about you at hello@getoron.com.
Passwords are stored salted and hashed. All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Access to data is limited to people who need it to deliver the Service. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a breach as the law requires.
Oron is a service for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or with a notice in the Service before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when the policy last changed.
